Our work includes brand activations, brand experiences, event management, conferences, and internal corporate engagement.
At Marvel Experiences, we believe that creativity without strategy is just art, but creativity with strategy is an experience.
Our process begins long before a mood board is created. It starts with a deep dive into the “why” behind your brand.
Why are you seeking to connect now?
What is the specific emotional resonance you want your audience to feel?
We don’t just accept a brief; we interrogate it, looking for the nuances that others might overlook. This stage is about more than just “coming up with ideas”—it’s about defining the strategic trajectory of your brand’s physical presence.
We start by identifying the intersection between your brand’s objectives and the consumer’s desires. In a world of digital saturation, physical experiences have become the ultimate currency of trust.
We use this understanding to build strategically sound concepts that serve a dual purpose: they must connect emotionally and perform commercially. This means every creative choice – from the colour palette of an installation to the flow of a guest journey – is anchored in a strategic rationale. We look at market trends, psychological drivers, and cultural shifts to ensure your concept isn’t just relevant today, but remains a talking point long after the event has concluded.
We take the core requirements and explore the “what if” scenarios.
What if we turned the venue upside down?
What if the audience became the performers?
By challenging the status quo, we create brand experiences that break through the noise of a crowded marketplace. This stage involves rigorous brainstorming, rapid prototyping of ideas, and a collaborative feedback loop with our clients. We ensure that the final concept is not only breathtakingly original but also perfectly aligned with your brand’s DNA and long-term KPIs.
Ultimately, strategic development is about de-risking the creative process. By doing the heavy lifting in the ideation phase, we ensure that every subsequent dollar spent on production is a dollar spent on achieving a specific, measurable goal. We don’t just create “moments”; we create movements that drive brand loyalty and deliver a return on emotion.

This experience celebrates the land of the West Coast of Auckland. Guests are transported to Woodhill Forest – a 45-minute drive from the Auckland CBD. (This can be executed throughout NZ) Awaiting the guests is a fleet of quad bikes and guests are lead along a forest track. They reach a clearing where our ‘base’ is set up. A pop up marquee tent, prep tables with food, pre prepared shallow hangi pits and our chef. The guests get ‘hands on’ in creating their own gourmet hangi. This is a hands-on experience where our guests prepare and cook their own meal under the watchful eye of our chef. Eye fillet, crawfish, chicken breast – a gourmet approach to hangi. The hangi will take 2 hours to cook, and during this time our guests continue their exploration on the quad bikes.
This experience explores Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf from multiple angles. Guests board helicopters for a scenic flight over the central city and out over the Gulf. With a truly unique perspective of the city we fly North and land at Vivian Bay, Kawau Island. An oasis 30 minutes from the CBD is The Beach House, a restaurant/lodge that will be our base for the day. After a quick refreshment stop we head out on the water for a guided paddle board tour that is suitable for all ages and skill levels. Lunch is prepared by The Beach House chefs and our guests dine overlooking Vivian Bay. We complete our Gulf exploration mid-afternoon by boarding a yacht and sailing back to the Auckland CBD. Guests can take an active part of simply sit back and enjoy the experience.
This experience has our guests unlock the northern most region of New Zealand. We helicopter to Cape Reinga to watch the sunset as the Tasman and Pacific Oceans collide. As we do, local iwi share their traditional stories and explain the significance of the region. That night we spend at Kauri Cliff where guests are treated to world class service. The following morning our guests head off for a horse ride along 90 Mile Beach or a round of golf, before heading back for lunch and being flown back to Auckland.
We drive/fly our guests to a remote beach, off the beaten track but chosen to match the guests’ experience level. The day is spent surfing and/or paddle boarding. Waves to yourself, personal tuition from New Zealand’s leading surfer in picture postcard locations. A marque is set to provide shade, a place to relax or convert to a boardroom table, while local chefs keeps our guests well feed and hydrated throughout the day.
