Gourmet Hands-On Hangi

Forty-five minutes from Auckland's CBD and a world away from the boardroom. Guests arrive by quad bike to a forest clearing, prepare their own gourmet hangi, eye fillet, crayfish, chicken breast, get it in the pits, and head back out on the bikes while it cooks. Two hours later, they eat what they made, in the middle of a forest, with nowhere else they'd rather be.

Explore the Gulf

Auckland's Hauraki Gulf from the air, on the water, and over a long lunch, in a single day. Helicopter to Kawau Island, lunch at a coastal restaurant-lodge most Aucklanders have never visited, a guided paddleboard tour, then a yacht back to the city. The return trip alone is worth the day.
