Challenge

We didn’t wait for a brief. We saw an opportunity – New Zealand’s dramatic high country, a gap in the global multi-sport calendar, and a brand built for exactly this kind of challenge – and we built a race concept around it. Red Bull Defiance was ours from the beginning. We conceived it, developed it, and then took it to Red Bull Global and made the case for why it deserved to carry their name. They agreed.

Solution

We conceptualised Red Bull Defiance: a two-day multisport event through eight private high country stations around Wanaka, blending endurance, strategy, and adventure. We took the concept to Red Bull Global, secured their endorsement, managed full logistics across multiple remote stations, and delivered the event four consecutive years – each edition building on the last.
