With covid running wild through New Zealand our challenge was to raise awareness of the upcoming Winter Olympics when it was in the middle of our summer.

We created a 2m x 2m x2m ‘ice block’ which was built by 32 individual blocks. Within each was a prize and the challenge for the public was to guess the time a specific block of ice would melt.

The closest time to the ‘melting’ moment would win that prize.

Media coverage reached 540,000 people, entries on site hit 584, and onsite public engagement was over 5,122 people.
