Great experiences are built on a foundation of robust production and meticulous logistics. The most beautiful concept will fail to fly without expert technical delivery behind it, and the most ambitious campaign will stay on paper without the operational capability to move it into the real world.
At Marvel Experiences, we view event logistics as the “engine room” that powers the creative vision. And we’ve spent years building the team, the supplier network, and the processes to prove it.
Marvel Experiences acts as the central nervous system for your project. Over the years, we've built a core team of trusted specialists who share our commitment to quality, reliability, and delivery.
Live environments carry real compliance obligations, and we treat them as non-negotiable. We handle health and safety documentation, local authority permits, structural engineering sign-off, and public liability requirements, ensuring every activation is watertight before it goes live.
Whether your activation is a pop-up in Auckland, a conference in Queenstown, or a multi-city roadshow, we have the infrastructure and the expertise to move your brand across the country safely and efficiently. Consistent delivery at every location, regardless of scale or complexity.
The work speaks more clearly than any brief. Here are a few of the activations we've designed, built, and delivered.
There’s a version of logistics that is reactive, chasing problems, filling gaps, hoping the plan holds. And there’s a version that is deliberate, where every contingency is anticipated, every supplier is accountable, and every element of the build has been stress-tested before it’s anywhere near a live audience.
Marvel Experiences operates in the second version. We’ve delivered complex, large-scale experiential marketing campaigns across New Zealand in remote terrain, nationwide tours, and high-pressure live environments, and we bring the same standard of planning, oversight, and execution to every project we take on, regardless of scale.
Our goal has always been the same: to make the impossible possible through engineering, grit, and expert planning, and to make it look effortless to everyone who wasn’t in the room when we figured out how.
The brief is just the beginning. Tell us what you’re trying to build, and we’ll tell you how we’d deliver it.
We don’t just “hire” vendors; we manage partnerships. We act as the central nervous system for your project, coordinating multiple workstreams – including freight, permits, structural engineering, and technical riders – to ensure they all converge at the right time and in the right place.
Managing production on behalf of our clients means providing a level of oversight that goes beyond the surface. We conduct thorough site inspections, review technical drawings for feasibility, and ensure all health and safety documentation is watertight. Our logistics expertise extends to nationwide delivery; whether your activation is a pop-up in Auckland, a conference in Queenstown, or a multi-city roadshow, we have the infrastructure and the “know-how” to move your brand across the country safely and efficiently.
What sets Marvel apart in production is our “value-engineering” mindset. We look at every technical requirement and ask how we can achieve the best possible result more efficiently. We manage the end-to-end production budget, negotiating with suppliers to ensure our clients receive the best possible value without compromising on the quality of the finish. We are the advocates for your brand on the warehouse floor and the construction site, ensuring that what was promised in a 3D render is exactly what stands before you on launch day.
Our goal is to make the impossible possible through engineering, grit, and expert planning.
This experience celebrates the land of the West Coast of Auckland. Guests are transported to Woodhill Forest – a 45-minute drive from the Auckland CBD. (This can be executed throughout NZ) Awaiting the guests is a fleet of quad bikes and guests are lead along a forest track. They reach a clearing where our ‘base’ is set up. A pop up marquee tent, prep tables with food, pre prepared shallow hangi pits and our chef. The guests get ‘hands on’ in creating their own gourmet hangi. This is a hands-on experience where our guests prepare and cook their own meal under the watchful eye of our chef. Eye fillet, crawfish, chicken breast – a gourmet approach to hangi. The hangi will take 2 hours to cook, and during this time our guests continue their exploration on the quad bikes.
This experience explores Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf from multiple angles. Guests board helicopters for a scenic flight over the central city and out over the Gulf. With a truly unique perspective of the city we fly North and land at Vivian Bay, Kawau Island. An oasis 30 minutes from the CBD is The Beach House, a restaurant/lodge that will be our base for the day. After a quick refreshment stop we head out on the water for a guided paddle board tour that is suitable for all ages and skill levels. Lunch is prepared by The Beach House chefs and our guests dine overlooking Vivian Bay. We complete our Gulf exploration mid-afternoon by boarding a yacht and sailing back to the Auckland CBD. Guests can take an active part of simply sit back and enjoy the experience.
This experience has our guests unlock the northern most region of New Zealand. We helicopter to Cape Reinga to watch the sunset as the Tasman and Pacific Oceans collide. As we do, local iwi share their traditional stories and explain the significance of the region. That night we spend at Kauri Cliff where guests are treated to world class service. The following morning our guests head off for a horse ride along 90 Mile Beach or a round of golf, before heading back for lunch and being flown back to Auckland.
We drive/fly our guests to a remote beach, off the beaten track but chosen to match the guests’ experience level. The day is spent surfing and/or paddle boarding. Waves to yourself, personal tuition from New Zealand’s leading surfer in picture postcard locations. A marque is set to provide shade, a place to relax or convert to a boardroom table, while local chefs keeps our guests well feed and hydrated throughout the day.
